If you are a private sector vendor with expertise in creating and implementing IT solutions for health care, you are encouraged to register with us. We are also looking for vendors who can supply goods and services to our corporate offices across Canada.
Most of Infoway’s competitive bid processes are conducted on an invitation basis; the remaining are publicly advertised on MERX.com and on the Open Competitive Bids page.

What is a Pre-Qualified Vendor?
Infoway partners with selected firms that can provide contract resources across various disciplines in a local market and/or a national level.
Will I have an opportunity to apply for contract positions if I am not a PQV?
Yes. Vendors are invited to apply for open contract opportunities posted on this website.
How do firms demonstrate interest?
To indicate your interest, simply register with Infoway and identify the categories of resources that you can supply. Infoway will then notify you when the pre-qualified process is refreshed.
What is the time frame for a registered vendor to become a PQV?
Infoway conducts an annual review to assess the continued suitability of each selected vendor. Reviews may take place earlier, if PQV are not able to meet Infoway's business needs. All announcements concerning PQV reviews will be sent to registered vendors and posted on this site.
What is the process for a registered vendor to become a PQV?
When Infoway needs to replenish the list of PQV, we will issue a Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) to registered vendors and existing PQVs. This is your opportunity to submit a proposal. An evaluation team will then review proposals to approve vendors for the PQV listing.
Selected vendors will sign a Standing Offer with Infoway, effective for a period of 24 months.
How will specific mandates be granted?
When Infoway has a demand for a specific contract resource, we will send selected PQVs a Request For Availability (RFA), outlining the required skills and experience and the details of the assignment. PQVs will have at least three days to submit their candidates.
After 24 to 48 hours, these same assignments will be posted on our site until the close date, giving vendors the opportunity to submit resources online.
If a suitable candidate is not identified during this period, Infoway reserves the right to continue recruiting efforts by all available means and channels.
Please contact our Procurement team if you need more information.
